Hi, I am Irene ! You will usually see me with a camera around my neck and a smile on my face.​I am a New York dance photographer, I love photography as well as dance.  I love capturing people , their movement , emotion,  and energy. I also love to get to know my clients and create photographs that reflect their own unique story. Being a dance photographer gives me the unique opportunity to be a part of something bigger. ​I have danced for as long as I can remeber . Everything from recitals to countless dance competitions. I would always be that teammate who had her camera in her hand and was taking fun action shots. I then thought to myself “ this is something I could really do.” I was able to put my two loves together ; Dance & Photography. For the last three years I have been a professional dance competition photographer. It has definitely helped with timing. Timing as a competition photographer is key ! This has been such a great help when doing personal shoots with dancers one on one. When I photograph dance, I anticipate when the most climactic and special moments are about to happen, so I can capture them in a split second.
